A Wavy Table with Organic Curves and Natural Grain

The Léon is a wavy table made from solid elm wood, with soft organic curves and a natural grain pattern, so no two pieces read exactly the same. Variations in tone and texture come with the material rather than the finish, so each table carries its own quiet character. The considered proportions matter as much as the material. Low enough for a young child to work comfortably, sized generously enough to sit within a modern family home without reading as children's furniture. Nothing about the surface or the silhouette announces itself.

Two or Three Tables Connect for a Larger Play Surface

Two or three Léon tables connect at their curved edges to form a longer, continuous surface for drawing, crafting, and building. When the room shifts to something else, they separate just as easily. Paired with the Remi Stools, the whole setting reads as one cohesive piece rather than a collection of separate items. As part of the broader range of activity tables in the Nuage collection, the Léon works across the years and stages a child's play moves through.

Material & How to care

The Léon Activity Table is crafted from solid elm wood, chosen for its natural grain, and sturdiness. This means there will be slight variations from table to table with regards to grain and knots.

Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth after use.
Avoid soaking the wood or leaving standing water on the surface.
For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution and dry immediately.
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive cloths.
Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to maintain the natural finish.

Reason To Love

Brings them together

The round shape puts every child on equal footing. No head of the table, no awkward corners, just a shared surface where drawing, puzzles, crafts, and snack time all happen naturally.

Beautiful and considered

Every curve on the Léon has a reason. The smooth, rounded edges were a deliberate choice from the very first design brief. So the table that anchors your child's creative world is also one you never have to worry about. Style and safety, resolved in a single piece.

Not just a kids table

Most activity tables live in the playroom and stay there. The Léon was designed to sit beautifully anywhere in your home. Solid elm wood and sculptural curves mean it looks at home wherever you put it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age range is the Léon Activity Table best suited for?

The Léon is designed for young children from toddler age upward. The table height and surface area are scaled for independent use by children, and the rounded edges make it a safe choice from the earliest years. Many families also use it as a coffee or living room table once children are older.

How many children can sit around it?

The Léon comfortably seats five to six children. Remi Stools can be tucked fully underneath the table when not in use, keeping the space tidy between sessions.

Does it arrive flat-packed?

Yes. The Léon Activity Table arrives flat-packed with the four legs separate from the tabletop. Assembly is simple - the legs screw directly into the base and most customers have it ready in under 5 minutes. No tools required.

Can two Léon tables be connected?

Yes. Two Léon tables interlock together, fitting neatly into each other to create a single, larger surface. This is a great option for families with multiple children or for anyone who wants more table space for bigger activities and gatherings.

Is the surface easy to clean?

Yes. The elm wood surface wipes clean easily with a soft damp cloth. For tougher marks, we recommend the Wonderspot Encapsulating Spot Cleaner which is specifically formulated to protect and preserve timber surfaces like this. Dry immediately after wiping and avoid leaving moisture to sit on the wood.

Can it be used as a coffee table or in a living space?

Absolutely. The Léon was specifically designed to sit beautifully in living spaces, not just playrooms. The solid elm wood, sculptural curves, and neutral natural finish mean it works as a coffee table, a shared creative surface, or a centrepiece in any open-plan space.

How many Remi Stools do I need for the Léon?

That depends on how many children will typically use the table at once. The Léon seats up to six, so most families start with two to four Remi Stools and add more as needed. The Remi is designed to pair seamlessly with the Léon and tucks completely underneath the table when not in use.

Is the elm wood finish durable enough for everyday use?

Yes. The Léon is crafted from solid elm wood, built to last. The natural finish holds up well to everyday creative use. We recommend wiping the surface after use, avoiding harsh chemicals, and keeping it away from prolonged direct sunlight to maintain the finish over time.
